சபரிமலை ஐயப்பனை தரிசிக்க நவ.15 முதல் ஹெலிகாப்டரில் போகலாம்


சபரிமலையில் நடைபெறும் மண்டல பூஜை, மகரவிளக்கு பூஜை காலங்களில் ஐயப்பனை தரிசிக்க செல்லும் பக்தர்கள் வசதிக்காக கொச்சியில் இருந்து ஹெலிகாப்டர் இயக்கப்பட உள்ளதாக தகவல்கள் வெளியாகியுள்ளன. கேரளா மாநிலத்தில் உள்ள பிரசித்த பெற்ற சபரிமலை ஐயப்பன் கோவிலில் இந்த ஆண்டு மண்டல பூஜை நவ 16ம் தேதி தொடங்குகிறது. இதையொட்டி நாடு முழுவதும் இருந்து ஏராளமான ஐயப்ப பக்தர்கள் சபரிமலைக்கு வருகை தருவார்கள். சபரிமலைக்கு பெரும்பாலும் சாலை மற்றும் ரயில் போக்குவரத்து மட்டுமே உள்ளது. விமானத்தில் செல்பவர்கள் கொாச்சி அல்லது திருவனந்தபுரத்தில் இறங்கி பின்னர் சாலை வழியாக நீண்ட தூரம் பயணம் செய்ய வேண்டும்.
கொச்சியில் இருந்து சபரிமலைக்கு 200 கிமீ தூரமும், திருவனந்தபுரத்தில் இருந்து 125 கிமீ தூரமும் உள்ளது. இதனால் வெகு தொலைவில் இருந்து வரும் பக்தர்கள் சபரி்மலைக்கு உடனடியாக வர ஹெலிகாப்டர் சர்வீஸ் தொடங்க வேண்டும் என பல வருடங்களாக கோரிக்கை விடுக்கப்பட்டு வந்தது.


இதையடுத்து கடந்த சில வருடங்களுக்கு முன் ஒரு தனியார் நிறுவநத்தின் சார்பில் கொச்சியில் இருந்து சபரி்மலைக்கு ஹெலிகாப்டர் சர்வீஸ் தொடங்கப்பட்டது. இதற்கு நல்ல வரவேற்பு கிடைத்ததை தொடர்ந்து இந்த வருடமும் சபரிமலைக்கு ஹெலிகாப்டர் சர்வீஸ் தொடங்க தீர்மானிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதன்படி இந்த ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 15ம் தேதி முதல் கொச்சியில் இருந்து சபரிமலைக்கு ஹெலிகாப்டர் சர்வீஸ் தொடங்கப்பட உள்ளது. சன்டோஸ் கிங் என்ற நிறுவனம் சார்பில் இந்த ஹெலிகாப்டர்கள் இயக்கப்பட உள்ளன. இதில் 5 பேர் பயணம் செய்யலாம். சபரிமலையில் இருந்து 40 கிமீ தொலைவிலுள்ள பெருமேடு என்ற இடத்தில் ஹெலிபேடு அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இங்கிருந்து கார் மூலம் பக்தர்கள் சபரிமலைக்கு அழைத்து செல்லப்படுவார்கள்.

கொச்சியில் இருந்து சபரிமலைக்கு சென்று வர ஒரு நபருக்கு ரூ.35 ஆயிரம் கட்டணம் ஆகும். பக்தர்கள் எண்ணிக்கை அதிகரித்தால் 18 இருக்கைகள் கொண்ட ஹெலிகாப்டர் இயக்கவும் இந்த நிறுவனம் திட்டமிட்டுள்ளது. இதனால் சபரிமலை செல்லும் பக்தர்கள் மகிழ்ச்சியில் உள்ளனர்.

Helicopter Service to Sabarimala from this Season 15th November


Come November 15, a Kochi-based Helicopter tour operator will commence a daily helicopter service to Sabarimala, in a bid to attract high-end pilgrims and tourists to the temple situated amidst hills.

The to-and-from service from Cochin International Airport Ltd (CIAL) to Sabarimala is priced at `34,900/person and can accommodate five persons per flight. The frequency of the service will be increased depending on the demand. The flight will be up to Perunad, the nearest location which has a helipad facility. From there the devotees are provided an air-conditioned car facility till Pampa, a distance of 40 km.  The tourists/pilgrims would return via the helicopter next day at 6 pm from Perunad, an hour’s ride to CIAL. Chipsan Aviation, a Delhi-based aviation service provider, which launched its operations in Kerala in 2012. .  This is not the first time that a helicopter service is launched to the hill shrine of Sabarimala. 
“That service was aimed at pilgrims from Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. This service is from Kochi and the initial response suggest we will have enough customers, He said since his company is a tour and travel operator, the heli-service will continue even after the pilgrimage season at Sabarimala for the tourists. 
The single-engine helicopter is hired at `85,000 per hour expense. If the demand for the service increases, would look at utilising a twin-engine helicopter, which has a seating capacity of 18 people.  Even now some companies are operating helicopter facility from Coimbatore and Bangaluru, priced at  `60,000 and `90,000 per person.

KTDC’s helicopter tourism with Chipsan Aviation

The Kerala Tourism Development Corporation (KTDC) is to foray into heli-tourism after nine years by launching “joy rides” for domestic and international tourists.

The KTDC will join hands with a Kochi-based Avaition Company called Chipsan Aviation with helicopter services. Company launched joy rides that will offer a panoramic view of the capital in 10 minutes. 

The helicopter being chartered can accommodate six persons at a time. The KTDC has identified the Central Stadium, Chandrasekharan Nair Stadium, and University Stadium to start the services.

The University Stadium is likely to be the choice as it is close to the KTDC’s flagship property, Hotel Mascot. “We are awaiting official response to the letters seeking permission,” he said. The 10-minute ride will be offered from dawn to dusk and will cover the backwaters of Thiruvallom, the famed beach resort of Kovalam, Chowara, Poovar, and Neyyar Dam. The flyers will get a bird’s eye view of the city, the light house at Kovalam, and Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple.

The fares will be in the range of Rs.4,100 to Rs.4,500* a person. The role of the KTDC will be to market the services. Issues such as parking the helicopter and security have to be worked out.

The helicopter services would be extended to Kochi with Bolghatty as the operational base if it worked out well in the capital, Mr. Vijayan Thomas said. Bihar Election News: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah and nearly a dozen union ministers from Bihar who are the star campaigners for the BJP-led alliance are hopping from one place to another in helicopters.

And so are the key campaigners of the "Grand Alliance" of the Janata Dal-United (JD-U), the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and the Congress including Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Lalu Prasad and Sonia Gandhi.

Nitish Kumar addresses four to five rallies every day, helicopters for him being hired by his party. Lalu Prasad speaks at five to six public meetings each day.

Their rivals, including leaders of the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), the Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) and the Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM), were the first to use helicopters in August and September, even before the assembly polls were formally announced, to attend Modi's rallies in Gaya, Muzaffarpur, Saharsa and Bhagalpur.

According to leaders from different parties, nearly 20 helicopters from private firms have been pressed into service to ferry the star campaigners. Most helicopters have come from New Delhi- and Mumbai-based aviation firms. The average cost of hiring a multi-engine helicopter is Rs.2 lakh a flying hour.
